Who we are

Inspiring a greener tomorrow through Arts & STEM

Asaase Yaa [ah-sah-see yah] means Mother Nature, Mother Earth. Asaase Yaa & Friends Network is a youth-driven organization rooted in the mission to reconnect local communities to their environment and to their power to create change.

We empower children, young people, women and marginalized communities to be eco-conscious, climate-adaptive problem-solvers through education, innovation and action.

About usOur projects
What we focus on

Three ways we create change

Quality Education

We believe education is a powerful tool for positive change. By equipping young minds with technical and vocational skills, we empower them to be innovative and address pressing climate issues.

Youth Leadership & Community Empowerment

We work hand in hand with communities to develop and implement strategies that help them adapt to climate change and build resilience while building a sustainable livelihood.

Research & Sustainable Innovations

We believe innovation is key to a greener future. Our focus is on inspiring creative, practical and eco-conscious solutions that tackle climate challenges and promote environmental sustainability.
